There are currently nine District Amputee Societies throughout New Zealand. Although affiliated to the Amputees Federation, District Societies are autonomous and governed by elected Committees.
Each District Society offers support services, publishes a regular newsletter and holds social and educational activities. Membership subscriptions are minimal – in many cases just $5 per year.
